Overview

Othercide is an horror tactical turn based game, released in July 2020.
The main USP of Othercide is the initiative bar, which player can interact with to influence the turn order of each units.

I started working on Othercide from the very beginning until February 2020. I was under the lead of Bob Hands, an experienced game designer (20+ years)

  • 3C (Camera, Character, Controller) design

  • Early UX design

  • In-engine prototyping

  • Units design (early intention, abilities, statistics and behaviour)

  • AI behaviour and implementation (in-engine AI tree)

    • Script (C#) my own AI nodes

  • Timeline creation for unit's actions

  • Level design (in engine)

  • Design tools for the dev to implement
